Biography

David M. Romero is one of the founding shareholders of The Romero Law Firm, P.C.  He handles legal matters in the following areas: family law, personal injury, product liability, toxic tort litigation, corporate formations, simple wills, and contractual dispute matters. 

 Mr. Romero has been married to his wife Paola Nguyen Romero for five years.  They have two sons named Jose Huy Romero and David Evan Romero.  He, his siblings and his parents are Native-Texans.  They were born in Houston, Texas (his father was actually born at home in South Houston, Texas).  Mr. Romero graduated from Pasadena High School in 1987.  Mr. Romero is currently a resident of League City, Texas.

 Experience

 Mr. Romero has performed legal and/or accounting work for the following companies and firms: Shell Oil Company; Tenneco Energy; Arthur Anderson, L.L.P.; Fairchild, Price, Thomas, Haley, & Willingham, L.L.P.; Martinez and Green, L.L.P.; Racusin & Wagner, L.L.P. and the 80^th Civil District Court under the direction of Judge Scott Link.

 Activities and Affiliations

Mr. Romero is an active member in the following Bar Associations:  American Bar Association; Houston Bar Association; Pasadena Bar Association; Texas Young Lawyers Association; Mexican-American Bar Association; and Houston Young Lawyers Association.  He is a member of the Management and Practice Division of the American Bar Association; the Family Law Division of the American and Houston Bar Association; and the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association.  He is also a lifetime member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity – Wood Inn. 

 Volunteer Activities

 He has chaired and participated in various elementary reading programs.  He has participated in Junior Achievements as an Instructor.  He has been appointed as a Child Advocate of Harris County.  He also has worked as an assistant bus driver for First Baptist Church.
